Dear Rex Mill Family, 

On behalf of the staff at the Rex Mill Middle STEM School, we are happy to welcome you to a new school year! We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our scholars can achieve their highest potential.  We recognize that in order to continue to "Build a Better Tomorrow, Today", our scholars need support from both the home and school. We know that a strong partnership with you will make a great difference by extending learning beyond the classroom. As partners, we share the responsibility for our scholar's success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities as we continue our work of

GOING for the G.O.L.D. (Growth & Ownership Leads to Distinguished). 

We ask that you guide and support your scholar's learning by ensuring that he/she:

1) Attends school daily by being present and active in all classes (school starts at 8:45am). 

2) Completes all assignments given by teachers (check Infinite Campus regularly). 

3) Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.

4) Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject. 

If you have any questions about the rules and expectations, please feel free to contact us or to discuss them with your scholar's teacher.  It is very important that you and you scholar are fully informed regarding our standards related to appropriate behavior for a safe and productive school year.
