- August 2024: Received STEM Certification Recognition from CCPS
- September 2024: Took students on a Delta Wing flight, featured on Fox News for aviation experien
- October 2024: Hosted Partner Breakfast honoring local and corporate supporters
January 2025:
- Awarded multiple grants, including the Youth Garden Grant and ALDI Cares Community Grant
- Held our 2nd Annual STEMchella, showcasing STEM innovations from students, staff, and community
February 2025:
- Only middle school selected to represent GA PTA at the State Capitol
- Won Georgia Teacher Initiative Grant
- Math 180 students showed highest growth in the district
- 3rd Place in District Social Studies Quiz Bowl
- Orchestra and Band earned Superior Ratings
- 6th grader won Best Structural Design at the Water Tower Competition
- April 2025:
- Students and teachers traveled to France and Italy
- Two students represented Rex Mill at Clayton County’s Community Love Day
- Swim Team won County Title
- Boys & Girls Track Team placed 2nd in the county
